Brought in my father's Omega for a full overhaul — it had been sitting in a drawer for about twelve years. The intake process was thorough and Wanchai explained clearly what he expected to find once the movement was open. The watch came back in five weeks running well, and the written report was genuinely detailed. A proper service.

I needed a leather strap replaced on a Seiko I wear daily. Very simple job, but it was done carefully and the spring bars were both replaced without me asking. The total cost was exactly what was quoted. I've since referred two colleagues here for their own work.

The crystal on my everyday watch had cracked and I dropped it in on a Monday while I was visiting the city. They had it ready by Wednesday with a new mineral glass and a fresh gasket. It cost a bit more than I'd expected for the sapphire option I ended up choosing, but the result is good and the explanation was honest.

Had a rubber dive strap replaced and while I was there asked about the bracelet on another watch I had with me. Nattaya adjusted it on the spot and only charged for the strap. Small thing, but appreciated. I've now brought in three different watches across two years and the experience has been consistent.

I was a little hesitant because the price for the full overhaul is not small, but the inspection conversation removed a lot of uncertainty. They showed me what they'd found and what the work would involve before I decided. The watch has been running well for two months since I collected it.

Came in during a two-week trip with a scratched acrylic crystal on a vintage Tissot. They polished it the same day and explained that replacement would have cost more and taken longer. Good advice. The polishing didn't remove every mark but the difference was meaningful. Would recommend for anyone in the area.

Service Case Studies
Case Study 01
Inherited Rolex, Non-Running for 8 Years
Challenge
A client's grandfather's watch — a 1970s manual-wind reference — had not run since at least 2017. The movement was completely stopped. The case showed surface scratches and the crystal had a chip in the lower-left corner.
Work Completed
Full movement disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, and lubrication. Worn mainspring replaced. Crystal swapped for a period-appropriate flat crystal. Case and bracelet refinished. Pressure tested on resealing.
Outcome
Movement running within ±6 seconds per day across positions after 48-hour run-in. Client received full written condition report. The watch is now worn regularly and the service record was added to the original box documentation.
"I didn't expect it to look this well. The case finish is careful — you can tell they've kept the original character of the brushing rather than just making everything shiny."

Case Study 02
Daily-Wear Seiko — Cracked Mineral Crystal
Challenge
A common SKX-derived reference with a cracked mineral crystal after a knock against a door frame. The crack ran from 9 o'clock to roughly 12, not yet affecting the display but showing a growing separation at one end.
Work Completed
Mineral crystal sourced and replaced. Case gasket replaced as a matter of course. Pressure tested to the reference's rated depth after resealing. Case gasket was found to be compressed beyond spec — replaced without additional charge.
Outcome
Watch returned to client on day three. Pressure test confirmed to original depth rating. Client noted the gasket replacement had not been asked for but appreciated the thoroughness. Watch continues in daily use.
"The job was done well and they didn't charge me extra for the gasket. That kind of small honesty makes a difference."

Case Study 03
Vintage Tissot — Acrylic Polish & Strap Replacement
Challenge
A 1980s Tissot with a hazy acrylic crystal and an aged leather strap with a broken keeper. The client had a limited time window — two days remaining in Chiang Mai — and needed a quick turnaround.
Work Completed
Acrylic crystal polished with appropriate compound to reduce haze. Replacement was offered but the workshop advised polishing first — it would be faster and preserve the original crystal. New tan leather strap fitted with new spring bars.
Outcome
Both jobs completed by end of business the same day. Crystal clarity significantly improved. Client noted that the advice to polish rather than replace saved money and time. Watch returned before travel deadline.
"They could have sold me a replacement crystal but they suggested polishing instead. That's the kind of honest advice you don't always get."
— Julia L., visiting Chiang Mai
