Common Questions

How do I know which service my watch needs?

If you're not sure, the most practical approach is to bring the watch in. We'll take a look at no charge and describe what we see — from there, you can decide how you'd like to proceed. For simple questions about strap sizes or crystal types, a call beforehand is also welcome.

How long does a full overhaul typically take?

A full overhaul generally takes four to six weeks, depending on parts availability and the condition of the movement. We give an estimated completion date at drop-off and contact you if that changes. Strap fittings and crystal replacements are usually completed within a few days.

Do you work on all makes and models?

We work on most mechanical and quartz watches across a wide range of brands. There are some very specialist movements — certain high-complication pieces, for example — where we may refer you elsewhere. We'll tell you honestly if a watch is outside our scope.

What does the pricing include?

The prices shown cover labour and standard materials. Replacement crystals in glass or sapphire are quoted separately after inspection, as the cost varies by reference. We don't add fees after the fact — if something comes up during the service, we'll contact you before proceeding.

Is my watch kept securely while it's with you?

Every watch is logged on arrival with a unique intake reference and stored in a locked area of the workshop. We handle a small number of pieces at a time, which means your watch is not sitting in a queue — it moves steadily through the process.

Can I post or courier my watch to you?

We prefer in-person drop-off for the initial assessment, as seeing the watch in hand allows us to note condition accurately and discuss your expectations directly. For customers outside Chiang Mai, please contact us first to arrange the details.
